That’s my cookie jar: A powerful tool used by the mentally toughest man on the planet.

The best tool to make me realise I’m not a loser or inferior or underachiever.

This is a long list of all my past achievements.

That I need to revisit every now and then.

Because it’s easy to get lost in the noise of the outside world.

And it is easier to beat yourself up. Go hard. Criticize. Feel guilty. Unhappy.

Whenever you feel like you’ve failed or underachieved.

Just open your cookie jar and feel proud of all what you’ve achieved.

The cookie jar concept has been proposed by my favorite person on the planet.

The one I’m very inspired by and continue to look up to.

He is a perfect example of never letting your circumstances decide your fate.

Instead, use your suffering. Hard times. Traumas as a fuel to taste greatness.

He is not an actor

Not a life coach

And obviously, he is not a self-help guru

The man is David Goggins — A former us US Navy Seal, Endurance athlete, author, trainer & Ultra- marathoner,

He is mentally the toughest man on the planet.

Back to the cookie jar.

Here’s how you use the cookie jar method to fight self doubt and imposter syndrome.

Make a list of all your wins. Big or Small. It doesn’t matter how small they are, or how old they are.

Let David Himself share with you the greatest tool to flip all your inferior and loser feelings.

David Goggins is typing…

“Think of your small accomplishments as kindling. When you want a bonfire, you don’t start by lighting a big log. You collect some witch’s hair — a small pile of hay or some dry, dead grass. You light that, and then add small sticks and bigger sticks before you feed your tree stump into the blaze.

Because it’s the small sparks, which start small fires, that eventually build enough heat to burn the whole fucking forest down.

Don’t just write down your achievement hit list. Include life obstacles you’ve overcome as well, like quitting smoking or overcoming depression or a stutter.

The Cookie Jar is your shortcut to taking control of your own thought process. Use it that way! The point here isn’t to make yourself feel like a hero for the f*ck of it. It’s not a hooray-for-me session. It’s to remember what a badass you are so you can use that energy to succeed again in the heat of battle.” — David Goggins

Create your cookie jar now.

Thanks

P.S. The Cookie Jar method is where you mentally store and keep note of all of the past experiences that you’ve overcome and achieved.

P.P.S. Then during times when you feel like giving up, you can simply take a cookie out of the jar.
